United Way Toronto
Annual Report Design Project
The concept for this 60-page report was based on research about current Not-For-Profit trends, including grass roots movements, local community involvement, and focussing on individuals. My concept signifies the stability of a deeply-rooted Not-For-Profit, that plants seeds of hope in people going through tough times.
With this concept in mind, I incorporated the colours and imagery of sprouting plants, and used textures of burlap bags such as that used for tree-planting. I found lovely full-page portraits so you can look into the eyes of every day people and make a connection, instilling feelings of humanity, hope and courage for a stronger future together.
